Flood Risk Assessment for Cork Planning Applications

If you're submitting a planning application to Cork City Council or Cork County Council, and your site is in or near a flood zone, you'll need a Flood Risk Assessment that satisfies the requirements of the Cork County Development Plan 2022-2028 and the Planning System and Flood Risk Management Guidelines.

The River Lee corridor through Cork City, the Bandon and Blackwater catchments, and coastal areas from Youghal to Bantry all have detailed CFRAM mapping. We extract design flood levels directly from OPW data to give you an accurate, defensible assessment.
